    Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam - Agribank

    Established on 26 March 1988, under the Laws on Credit Institutions of Vietnam, presently, Agribank is the leading commercial bank which plays a pivotal role in investment for the development of agriculture, rural and other fields in Vietmam economy.     Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam – BIDV

    Established in 1957 under its forerunner’s name: Bank for Construction of Vietnam. Through 50 years of development, BIDV is one of the leading bank in Vietnam in diversifying its services and products.

    Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade - Vietinbank

    VietinBank is one of the four largest state-owned banks, playing an important role in banking industry of Vietnam. Vietinbank is the first bank in Vietnam to apply modern technology and e-commerce in its banking operations. Now, Vietinbank continues to study to improve its existing services and products in order to satisfy the demand at the highest level of the customers.

    Saigon Bank for Industry and Trade - Saigonbank

    Was the first commercial joint-stock bank of Vietnam established on 16 October 1987 before the promulgation of the Company Law and the Banking Ordinance with the initial chartered capital of VND650 million and the operation duration of 50 years. On 21st April 2007, Saigonbank successfully connected to Banknetvn system.

    Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank - ACB

    Saigon Thuong tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Sacombank

    Official established and entered its operation in 21st December 1991; Sacombank has become one of the leading banks in Vietnam achieving the Certificate of Merits and other prestigious awards inside and outside Vietnam.

    Mekong Housing Bank – MHB

    Hanoi Building Commercial Joint Stock Bank - Habubank

    As the first commercial joint stock bank in Vietnam, Habubank was established in 1989 with the initial purpose to provide loans and services in housing and building development field. More than 20 years in business, the Bank now has a chartered capital of VND 3000 billion with a steadily-broadened branch network. Doing business with a long-term outlook, the Bank has been consecutively graded A in the last 9 years and recognized as one of the safest, most efficient and stable banks by the State Bank of Vietnam.

    Ocean Commercial Joint-Stock Bank - Oceanbank

    (formerly Hai Hung Rural Commercial Joint-stock Bank – Hacombank) was established and organized under Decision No.257/QD-NH5 on October 30th, 1993 and began operating under Operation License No.0048/NH-GP on December 30th ,1993 issued by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV). This is the first joint-stock bank in the former Hai Hung (presently Hai Duong) Province. In the last 14 years, the Bank has partnered with other local businesses to mobilize capital to restructure and develop the local economy. Hai Hung Rural Commercial Joint-stock Bank was officially reformed to joint-stock bank under Decision No. 104/QD-NHNN dated 9 January 2007 of the State Bank of Vietnam and renamed to Oceanbank. Oceanbank has expanded its branches and offices. Now, OceanBank has nearly 70 branches and transaction offices throughout the country.

    Southest Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank)

    Founded in 1994, the Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank - SeABank is one the first Vietnamese commercial joint stock banks. Proud of its achievements of the past few years, SeABank has been ceaselessly perfecting its products and services to pursue the policy of sustainable development, aiming to be among the leading commercial joint stock banks in Vietnam. Especially, in the recent years, SeABank has continued to achieve the growth in its capital and business scale. A vision of the state of the art bank with stable growth and partnering with the customer has been drawn by SeABank and its picture has been admitted by the customers.

    Western Commercial Joint Stock Bank - WesternBank

    Western Bank has its forerunner’s name Co Do commercial Bank which was established at the end of 1988 in Can Tho Province. Through 20 years in business, Western Bank was approved by the State Bank of Vietnam to reform to urban bank in early 2007 and its charter capital was increased to 1,000 billion VND. Currently, its branches and transaction offices has been nationwide. Western Bank has gradually affirmed its position in the banking industry and pioneering in renovation, improving its service standard and providing new services to meet multiple demands of the customers.

    Petrolimex Group Commercial Joint Stock Bank – PG Bank

    Petrolimex Group Commercial Joint Stock Bank (PG Bank) was formerly Dong Thap Muoi Rural Joint Stock Bank. In March 2007, the State Bank of Vietnam approved Dong Thap Muoi Rural Joint Stock Bank to reform to urban joint stock bank according to Decision No. 125/QD-NHNN dated 12 January 2007, and changed its name under Decision No.368/QD-NHNN dated 8 January 2007. Consequently, Petrolimex Joint stock bank is allowed to expand its network nationwide and be able to do all banking businesses such as international payment and foreign exchange business.

    Vietnam-Russia Joint Venture Bank - VRB

    held the official opening ceremony on 19/11/2006. The establishment of VRB, resulting from the economic co-operation of the two Governments and Central Banks, opens new opportunities for co-operation of the two economies and the financial systems. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Triet and of Russian President Vladimir V. Putin. VRB is a joint venture between the two leading banks in Vietnam and Russia, Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), accounts for 51%  and Bank for Foreign Trade of Russia (VTB) with 49% of chartered capital.

    Great Trust Joint Stock Commercial Bank - TRUSTBank

    was officially incorporated in 1989 in the name of Rach Kien Rural Joint Stock Commercial Bank – the first joint stock bank in Long An Province and it was granted the operation license number 0047/NH-GP by the State Bank of Vietnam on 29/12/1993 with the head office at number 1, Long Hoa Ward, Can Duoc District, Long An Province. In order to make ease for the development and expansion of business, according to Decision No.1855/QD-NHNN dated 21 August 2008 by the State Bank of Vietnam, Great Trust Joint Stock Commercial Bank moved its Head Office to 145 – 147 – 149 Hung Vuong, Ward 2, Tan An Distric, Long An Province.

    South Asia Joint stock Commercial Bank (NamA Bank)

    Nam A bank incorporated in October 21st 1992, was one of the first joint stock commercial banks formed after the release of Banking Ordinance in 1990 when our national economy was in the process of innovation. For the last 18 years of operation, NamA bank asset and branches has been expanded sharply and held a firm position in Vietnam banking market.
