To connect VBARD’S ATM/POS systems to Banknetvn Switching Network

During the meetings between Vietnam bank for Agriculture and Rural development (VBARD) and Banknetvn held in May 2007, the two Parties discussed and reached to an agreement on option and roadmap to connect VBARD’s card system to Banknetvn Switching Network. Based on this agreement, all local debit cards (Success) issued by VBARD shall be accepted at all ATM and Point of Sales born Banknetvn logo.

To connect POS systems of 3 banks to Banknetvn Switching Network

In the last April, the national financial switching network (Banknetvn Switching Network) was officially gone to live, marking a big milestone in the area of payment via bankcard. The operation of Banknetvn Switching Network is the fruit of a close coordination and strong effort between Banknetvn and the 3 member banks: ICB, BIDV and SGB enabling banks to share each other the usage of their ATM systems. With a network of about 1000 ATMs Vietnam born Banknetvn logo spreading all over cities and provinces in Vietnam, customers and access to the following services: Cash withdrawal, Balance inquiry, Mini statement, and Funds transfer.
